- Trạng từ chỉ tần suất diễn tả mức độ thường xuyên của một hành động.
-always: luôn luôn
- usually: thường xuyên, thường lệ
- often: thỉnh thoảng
- sometimes : đôi lúc, đôi khi
- seldom/ rarely : hiếm khi
- never : không bao giờ
- Vị trí của trạng từ chỉ tần suất:
- Sau động từ tobe
- Trước động từ thường
- Trạng từ chỉ tần suất được dùng để trả lời câu hỏi với: “How often?” (Có…thường?).
Vd: How often do you go to the cinema?
- S + be + always + V-ing: thể hiện ý than phiền, phàn nàn về một việc gì đó mà mình hay người khác thường hay làm, hay mắc phải
