Trong tiếng anh, khi muốn nhắc lại một điều giống với người đã nói trước, ta sử dụng các mẫu câu với "neither, either, too, so". Bài viết dưới đây sẽ giúp các bạn hiểu rõ hơn và bên dưới là một số bài tập áp dụng.
*Câu đồng tình khẳng định:
So+ trợ Động từ + Chủ ngữ
Chủ ngữ+ trợ Động từ, too.
Vd: I like ice- cream
So do I
I do, too.
I can play well.
So can I
I can, too.
*Câu đồng tình phủ định:
Neither+ trợ Động từ+ chủ ngữ
Chủ ngữ + trợ Động từ, either.
Lưu ý: neither= not + either, nên trong câu đồng tình phủ định, ta ko cần dùng not.
Vd: I don't like ice-cream.
=> Neither do I
I don't, either.
I can't play well.
=> Neither can I
I can't , either.
Nâng cao: các cấu trúc khác liên quan đến neither và either.
-Both… and …: vừa… vừa, cả… lẫn
Vd: i like both football and volleyball.
-neither… nor: cả hai đều không
-either … or: hoặc là.. hoặc là
=> Động từ với hai cấu trúc này chia theo chủ ngữ gần nó nhất
Vd: Neither Tom nor Mary likes cats
( Cả Tôm và Mary đều không thích mèo)
Either Tom or Mary likes cats.
( Tom hoặc Mary không thích mèo)
