In this day and age, it is argued that there have been more options for us to choose. I completely agree with this point of view.
Firstly, in terms of education, students are freely able to have access to various methods of studying. They are likely to opt for online or blended courses instead of fully attending face-to-face lectures at learning institutions. For example, a Vietnamese freshman could follow their international studies of a Bachelor's degree from his or her home without going abroad. In addition, ungraduates has been offered a plenty of new majors to pursue at university as a result of a significant increase of different professions. As an illustration for this, the higher education system in some developed countries has introduced students to several newest practical-based courses, such as Community managers, Information security professionals or User Experience designs.
Secondly, a huge number of media sources are available for us to approach news. Previously, the public was provided with traditional channels to obtain information on a regular basis, as TV, or newspapers; whereas, they now are given more choices to catch the latest with social media. To illustrate this, with numerous applications installed on smart devices, like Facebook, and Twitter, the current generations may have a sufficient understanding of politics, economics, or other types of their interests.
To conclude, I strongly believe that the more advanced the technologies are, the more various opportunities we can gain. Therefore, we should be carefully selective no matter what areas we are working on.
I highly appreciate your help!!
